About the IdCMA

The Idaho City/County Management Association’s (IdCMA) purpose is to increase the proficiency and effectiveness of Managers and Administrators of local government within the State of Idaho; to strengthen the quality of local government through professional management; to encourage and support the precepts of the Council/Manager plan; to maintain the high ethical standards of the profession of City/County Management; and provide opportunities to enhance the professional development of its members.



IdCMA membership is open to Idaho City/County Administrators or the equivalent to include those appointed to their position who make policy recommendations, prepare and administer budgets, maintain some influence in the appointment of key administrative personnel, sustain organizations relationships, and has external responsibilities involving overall municipal or county operations. Associate memberships are also available to those persons holding responsible administrative positions within Idaho who are interested in the objectives of IDCMA, but do not qualify as a full member.
