Elizabeth Conner, Assistant to the Mayor/HR Coordinator for the City of Garden City, resigned to pursue other challenges.
Lewiston City Councilmember Jesse Maldonado has been appointed by Gov. C.L. (Butch) Otter as a member of Serve Idaho, the governor’s commission on service and volunteerism. Maldonado was elected to the Lewiston City Council in 2013 at age 18 and attends Lewis-Clark State College.
The Malad Planning and Zoning Committee was reorganized recently. Jeremy deJong and David Buttars joined Helen Ravsten, Louise Tuller and John Tubbs on the Committee.
The Sandpoint City Council voted to confirm Mayor Carrie Logan’s appointment of Aaron Qualls as the city’s Planning and Economic Development Director.
Tara Bartley was hired as the new Twin Falls Public Library Director and began work on May 15.
CSO Tracy Bramwell with the Twin Falls Police Department received her POST Instructor Certification for Evidence Collection and Fingerprinting.
Officer Shawn Applewhite was appointed as the newest Special Weapons and Tactical (SWAT) team member with the Twin Falls Police Department.
Officer Morgan Waite with the Twin Falls Police Department received his Intermediate POST certification.
After more than eight years of service on the Twin Falls Special Weapons and Tactical (SWAT) team, Detective Ken Rivers resigned.
