The City of Jerome partnered with the Jerome Rotary Club to provide funds for the installation of a restroom facility in North Park, which will provide the community with a permanent structure and replace the portable units. The pre-fabricated and ADA compliant restroom will help accommodate the needs of events held in the park. The Rotary Club contributed $20,000 and the City matched the contribution for the project.
Airmen of the Idaho National Guard’s 124th Fighter Wing dedicated two A-10C Thunderbolt II aircraft to the City of Jerome and the City of Twin Falls on August 14 at Magic Valley Regional Airport. The public was encouraged to attend the ceremony and view the two A-10C aircraft with community dedicated logos. The aircraft dedication recognized the support and sacrifices that communities and their citizens make to defend freedom at home and abroad.
The 25th annual Timber Days was held successfully in the City of Priest River on July 24-25. Events included a car cruise downtown, a huckleberry pancake breakfast, Run for Berries, a parade, a logging competition, food and vendor booths, and fun for the whole family.
