AIC Highlights Noteworthy People

Check out noteworthy things being done and honors received by people in Idaho cities around the state.

 

The Caldwell Police Department gave several promotions—Devin Riley to Captain, Joey Hoadley to Lieutenant, Joshua Gregory t; o Sergeant, and Patrick Lewis to Corporal.

 

Three new firefighters joined the Caldwell Fire Department—Jamison Nipper, Kolby Kerbs, and Brent Sillito.

 

Rose Cabrera is the new Records Specialist in the Caldwell Building Department.

 

Several new staff members have joined the Caldwell Public Library—Marina Rose, Adult Services Librarian; Rachel Tilford, Circulation Services Assistant; and Sharon Porter, Circulation Services Assistant.

 

Moscow Mayor Bill Lambert honored several citizens and organizations with the 2016 Mayor’s Earth Day Awards on April 18. Those recognized included: UI Youth Water Summit as Water Champion; Palouse Clearwater Food Coalition; Moscow Farmers Market; Anytime Fitness; Nimiipuu Protecting the Environment; Nils Peterson; City of Moscow Sanitation Department; and teachers Shanti Norman, Moscow Middle School, and Patty Pancheri, McDonald Elementary. These awards acknowledge and encourage practices that foster sustainability in the community in a variety of ways.
