Concerned about air quality in the Salmon area? The Idaho Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) is hosting an open house to chat with local residents about air quality concerns and to seek participation in an air quality public involvement group.
The open house will be held September 27, 2016, at 6:30 p.m. at Salmon City Hall, 200 Main St.
Interested citizens are encouraged to stop by to learn more about fine particulate matter (PM2.5) air pollution and exceedances in the Salmon area, and to discuss forming a citizens air quality advisory group to spearhead a non-regulatory program called PM Advance.
