House Kills AIC-Opposed Anti-County Planning Bill

Posted By Johanna M. Bell, Wednesday, March 13, 2019

On Tuesday morning the House voted to kill an AIC-opposed bill that would have allowed counties to opt out of comprehensive planning.  House Bill 127 was defeated by a vote of 30-38-2.

We greatly appreciate the help from city officials around the state who called their legislators to ask them to oppose the bill.  Your help really does make a difference!
