Cub Scouts Kristian Aguirre, Nolan Karns, Erick Meraz, and Jonah Pettinger earned an opportunity to have lunch with Blackfoot Mayor Paul Loomis. The four scouts were chosen after they filled out an application asking why they wanted to meet the mayor and what they would like to ask him. After a tour of the administrative, each scout asked the mayor his question and had it answered. They then adjourned to the City Council Chambers where the mayor explained how city government works and the roles of the mayor and council. Lunch, sponsored by the Elks Lodge, was then served to the scouts and the mayor.

Blackfoot Mayor Paul Loomis presented Public Works Director Richard Mangum with a membership award from the American Water Works Association (AWWA).

Nate Coyle has been hired as the new City Manager for the City of McCall. He has been serving as the airport manager and special projects manager for the City since 2013.
