Debbie Erickson retired from the City of American Falls.


The City of American Falls has recently hired Minerva “Minni” Chaqueco.


Idaho Falls Mayor Rebecca Casper was one of 25 women leaders—out of 100 nominated—selected to attend the Women in Government Leadership Program Class of 2016.


Ketchum Mayor Nina Jonas is an honorary commander to the 389th Fighter Squadron, the "Thunderbolts," under the guidance of Lieutenant Colonel Gary "Ziggy" Marlowe. The honorary command is a public relations initiative allowing bases to open their gates to their neighbors to gain awareness of each other's community. Honorary commanders are selected through an application process and are chosen for a strong connection to their own community and a lack of connection to the military services. The honorary command is a two-year program.


Keshia Owens has joined the Ketchum Planning and Building Department as a Planning Technician.


As part of a kick-off event for the annual Mayor’s School Waling Challenge, Twin Falls Mayor Don Hall ran alongside area students, encouraging them to keep going. The goal of the challenge is to encourage mayors and students to get moving and promote a healthy lifestyle.
