AIC Highlights Noteworthy People

Check out noteworthy things being done and honors received by people in Idaho cities around the state.


Caldwell Councilmember Chris Allgood has resigned from the City Council, effective January 29.


Idaho Falls City Councilmember David Smith was named to a one-year term on the American Public Power Association’s Policy Makers Council by APPA’s Board of Directors.


Kathy Cone retired from the City of Jerome after 26 years of service. She served for many years as the City Clerk/Treasurer and, most recently, served as the Assistant Finance Director for the City. She was well known for her hard work and dedication.


Leroy Kuykendall has been hired by the Orofino Public Works Department.


Preston City Treasurer Jerry Larsen retired effective January 7, after 20 years of service to the city.


Rathdrum’s Parks and Recreation Director Lance Bridges will retire on February 19 after 17 years of service to the City.


Rathdrum’s Clerk/Treasurer Melissa Taylor has been appointed as the City’s Finance Director/Treasurer.


Deputy Clerk Sherri Hallligan has been appointed as the new City Clerk for the City of Rathdrum.


Rathdrum’s City Administrator Brett Boyer will be leaving the City to take up a new position as City Administrator for the City of Hayden.


Ryan Luttmann has been named as the new Public Works Director for the City of Sandpoint.


The St. Maries City Council awarded the bid for the community amphitheater to Mike LaPlante’s Mountain View Construction. The project is estimated to be completed by the end of June.


Sergeant Luke Allen, Conducted Energy Device Instructor, and Officer Dusty Solomon, Crisis Intervention Instructor, for the Twin Falls Police Department are now POST-certified instructors.


The City of Twin Falls Airport has hired Chad Stewart and Sefika Hidanovic as Airport Custodians.
