Check out noteworthy things done and honors received by cities around Idaho as they work to create quality cities.

Teens from the Boys & Girls Clubs of Ada County and officers from the Garden City Police Department went on their annual rafting trip on the middle fork of the Payette River after meeting for a pizza party courtesy of Idaho Pizza Company.

An analysis by the college and careers website Goodcall finds that the City of Pocatello ranks at number 30 in a report titled “Best Places for First Responders to Live and Work.” The survey analyzed over 900 U.S. communities to see how they fared in job and lifestyle opportunities provided to police officers, firefighters, and emergency medical technicians.

The grand opening of the St. Maries Community Amphitheatre took place on July 22, with a good turnout and great entertainment despite the rain.

If your city has done something noteworthy or received an honor and you would like it listed in City Clips, send the information to GayDawn by e-mail or fax 344-8677.
