AIC Highlights Noteworthy City Clips

Check out noteworthy things done and honors received by cities around Idaho as they work to create quality cities.


The City of Idaho Falls hosted a special VIP Veteran Air Show program on July 21 to honor those who served.


The City of Meridian recently conducted a city-wide survey where 93% of residents surveyed indicated the City exceeds expectations as a place to raise a family, 92% rated Meridian as an excellent place to live with 91% saying they have an “overall feeling of safety” here.  The survey of 743 randomly selected residents resulted in a margin of error plus or minus 3.6% at a 95% level of confidence.


On August 1, the Moscow Police Department hosted a National Night Out in Moscow. The event was designed to heighten crime and drug prevention awareness, generate support and participation in local anticrime efforts, strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships, and send a message to the community that our neighborhoods are informed and prepared. National Night Out involved more than 16,000 communities from all over the world.


The City of Twin Falls Police Department hosted a National Night Out event on August 1 which included displays and presentations from the Police Department, the County Sheriff’s Office, Idaho State Police, Idaho Fish & Game, the Fire Department, Magic Valley paramedics and various other organizations and community groups.
