Check out noteworthy things done and honors received by cities around Idaho as they work to create quality cities.

Coeur d’Alene citizens celebrated the Fourth Annual PARK(ing) It on Sherman Block Party on September 21. Event highlights included live music, interactive booths (including an East Sherman project booth), local vendors, food trucks, a beer garden, dog scavenger hunt, lawn games and much more. The event also tested the “Activate East Sherman” pilot project. The demonstration block will gather feedback from citizens before any financial commitment is made to make significant changes to the corridor. On September 24, the City and CDA 2030 began collecting project feedback from community members.

The City of Moscow joined regional partners for the 2018 Palouse Bide Week September 17 through 22. Palouse Bike Week features a week of cycling events across the Palouse. Events included the Moscow Pathways Commission Annual Pathway Tour.

The Palouse Area Bike Show on September 22 was hosted by the City of Moscow, AmeriCorps, and the Moscow Chamber of Commerce. Palouse area bike shops and clubs brought their bikes to show off. Kids’ activities included a bike skills station, a safety check station, and a bike decorating station. The event culminated with a parade through the Moscow Farmers Market, ringing the closing bells, for any kids who wanted to show off their newly decorated bikes.
