Association of Idaho Public Works Professionals

The objectives and goals of this association shall be to add to the knowledge and goals of the members; to encourage cooperative relationships among the various members representing cities of all sizes in the State of Idaho; to provide opportunities to discuss common problems and issues; to further the knowledge of the members on technical issues and other issues impacting the public works profession; and to assist with and improve the efficiency of city government.  More Info...

Idaho Airport Management Association

The Idaho Airport Management Association was founded in 1975 in order to provide an association of persons and groups interested in Idaho’s aviation and airport facilities. The purpose of the Association is to determine standards of airport management, promote professional stability in airport administration, promote the highest standards possible in all technical operations necessary to the public safety and efficient airport control, establish a systematic interchange of experience in the development and maintenance of airports, promote understanding by the general public of the value of aviation and the airport and foster public recognition of the airport, and cooperate with other organizations interested in the general benefit of aviation.

Idaho Association of Building Officials (IDABO)

IDABO has members from building departments from all over the state of Idaho; the building industry (from contractors to suppliers) and design professionals.  Their goal is to provide training and education on building codes.  Contact: 

Idaho Chiefs of Police Association (ICOPA)

The mission of the Idaho Chief's of Police Association is to combine ideas from every department to further preserve order, protect property, and enforce regulations for the citizen's of Idaho.  Furthermore, they believe all cities deserve equal representation in the laws written which they will enforce.  In pursuit of this mission, the Association uses a combined voice to be heard on issues that affect everyone in the state.  Contact:

Idaho Municipal Attorneys, Inc.

The mission of the IMA is to facilitate delivery of high quality legal services on a cost-effective basis to the cities of the great State of Idaho. To that end, the IMA will provide educational programs and peer-to-peer networking opportunities among its members and critical analysis and constructive comment regarding legislation affecting local government.

As a non-profit corporation, we will provide such services for a nominal or reasonable charge without benefit or financial consideration to the directors or officers of the corporation. Our ultimate goal is to improve the law as applied to public entities and foster the administration of justice and quality of legal service rendered by our members.

Idaho Recreation and Park Association (IRPA)

The Idaho Recreation and Park Association is a non-profit, professional organization founded in 1959 as the Idaho Recreation Society.

IRPA has over 200 members from municipal, county, state, and federal park and recreation agencies, private corporations, hospitals and institutions, colleges, commercial enterprises, commissions, and advisory boards.

IRPA is dedicated to the promotion,development, and improvement of each member through education, certification, networking and professional services such as media representation and publications.
